Bulgarian Mattresses Producer TED Scores Success in Romania The Bulgarian producer of mattresses TED-BED Jsc has conquered a market share of 9% in Romani in just 1.5 years.
The successful performance was announced by the Plovdiv-based company on Wednesday.
"This is result is no surprise for us given our ambitious plans and hard work. Our expansion on the Romanian market will be twofold we will diversify the product range that we offer, and will also open new sales outlets all across Romania," said Iva Nedeva, regional manager of TED-BED for Romania.
Just recently TED participated in Romania's largest expo for new technologies in the mattress and furniture industry, BIFE TIMB (September 8-12) in Bucharest.
The Bulgarian company presented there its mattress Matterra featuring built-in protection against the geopathogenic effects a device that disperses the harmful magnetic fields, and its Nordic Motor Bed whose various components are adjustable by a remote control.
TED-BED Jsc is the largest Bulgarian producer of mattresses. TED-BED Jsc invested about EUR 11 M in its manufacturing plant near Plovdiv, which was opened in 2009, and is located on an area of 24 000 square meters.
The company has a distribution network of over 900 stores in Bulgaria, and exports its products to the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Morocco, Macedonia, Croatia, Denmark, Ukraine, Serbia, Italy, Romania, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Serbia, Albania.
